Merry Christmas
Hey, Y'all!
First of all, I guess I should let everyone know that Bill and I finally got married! Yep, October 14th was the big day. And it was beautiful. A real Cinderella wedding for me. The day I married my best friend. Bill went thru all my ECT treatments with me, stayed with me 24/7. That makes him my hero. Plus the fact that he has BP, too, makes him the perfect man for me.
Well, Christmas came and went, and it was the best one I ever had. See, I haven't really celebrated Christmas for the past 5 years, as I was just too high or drunk (basically just "self-medicating" my BP symptoms). I was clean and sober last Christmas, but was undergoing ECT, so I was pretty much a zombie last year at this time. But this year, I was "in my right mind," so I was able to enjoy everything, and I really made a big deal out of it all. And what a wonderful Christmas it was! My son, Tyler, who is 17 now, is still living with me, and my middle son, CJ (22), moved down from Buffalo, NY, with his girlfriend, and they're staying with us, too. So I had a full house for the holidays, and loved every minute of it!
Plus, we got to go to FL (we live in TN) for a week to see my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, and did all our Christmas shopping down there! It was a great visit.
So things are good, and I'm so grateful. My 49th birthday is on Dec. 31st, and I'm looking forward to a great New Year!
Remember that God loves you, and so do I!
Love, Michele
